Wow! Tears cannot stop running down my face! I have lost someone who is very special to me. Well, she is very special to everyone. To the world, she was one. But to one she was the world.
I am deeply sadden. We were deeply connected. She was my teacher, my lover, and my friend. We dated each other for five years. We broke up about three years ago (all my fault!).
She was the best aunt, niece, sister, friend, and co-worker ever! My family absolutely love her and reminded me often that I was wrong for ending the relationship for apparently no reason. Even those in my family from far distances in Haiti who didn’t know her felt a connection with her.
I am really sorry I didn’t give her half of what she gave me emotionally. As I am typing these words, I am fighting more tears. Okay, I know, I know… I am a man and I am supposed to be strong. If you only knew just a little how incredible that lady is. Goodbye my friend. We promised each other to be friends forever no matter what happens. Yes, we will always be friends. By the way, please forgive me if there’s any typos in this post and the ones after. You were my editor–the best one ever!
You always refuse to let me send anything out before you proofread it. Well, sorry! I can’t see well through those tears you put in my eyes.
One more thing, I am so sorry I was not into dancing when we were dating. I know you loved to dance. I am taking Salsa lessons. Oh, yes, you did mention to me just recently to save a dance for you for when you get back on your feet. Well, well, well…
I will save the last dance for you when we meet in Heaven… We all can dance as one big happy family…
Thank you for your honesty. I’m sorry to here you pain. keep your chin up and press on! That’s the way life is.
I’m sorry. I wish it didn’t happen.
Raj,
